You can create a note block schedule for the annotation symbol from the View tab, Create panel, Schedules, Note Block! Then I thought, perhaps a schedule would work.which does work, inside of the schedule itself, but not once it is on a sheet. Once I load it into my project I can place it in a drafting view (or other view if preferred), select on the symbol and in the properties dialog box I can type in the url and then select the. I could define a description parameter for the item, and then a url parameter, I made both of these instance based. Text of course would be the obvious first thought, however you cannot select on the line of text and have it take you anywhere, even if you edit the text, it still will not open a web browser. I was asked if there was a way to make a url link live inside of a drafting view in Revit, and by that I mean, so you can select the link and have it take you to that web page. I love it when a someone gives me a new challenge (and something to blog about!), and recently I had one.
